Things with Wings...
Great topic this month over at Country View Challenges being things with wings.
Jane has provided a great post with ideas and inspiration on this theme. I was very inspired, so have come up with this.
I started by cutting a 4cm strip along the longest side of some A4 stamping card, then scored at 4cm intervals to make an accordian.
In these sections of my mini book, I stamped using Clarity Dragon Fly, the wing section of a car from Indigo Blu and half of a butterfly. The colour comes from the blue's of the Distress Crayons.
These sections are stamped with a bird from the Clarity range, a cut of from a magazine of the Space Shuttle!! and I think the aeroplane from Tim Holtz.
The 'cover' is painted with Paperartsy Chalk paints in Inky Pool and Caribbean Sea. I wrote the wordage with a Pebeo Gold marker pen.
Very pleased with my first attempt at an Accordian book!!
