Great fun making some stamps from an old wellington boot!!

Mixed Media Mark Making.

Took some white card and just went for it with loads of mark making..

Transferred some print from a magazine page with mod podge, then added layers of acrylic paint..

Some gestural marks with some ink, added some stitchery.

A box of Eggs Colours..

My turn over on the Paper Artsy blog with the current theme of Colour, Box of Eggs.

I have chosen to use a selection of stamps and Fresco Chalk paints in the new range from Courtney.  I chose to create onto some brown packaging with Blah Mange and Sea Glass.

I cut up and used elements of some of the stamps to encompass my focal point.

Added some elements to the edges to draw the viewer in.

Enjoyed playing with some new colours and stamps!! Had a further play with Blah Mange and mixing up with some grey and stitchery.

Collage Eyes to the Right.

Had this 'frame' piece of card on my glass mat for ages, had to incorporate into this collage.

Trying out new ways of stitches for texture.

Loving this new colour Mustard Pickle from Paper Artsy Fresco paint range.

Brayering with Gesso, PaperArtsy Infusions etc...

Been having fun with the brayer, Gesso and Paperartsy Infusions,

This one started off with a layer of Black Gesso, then layer of white gesso and Paperartsy Infusions in Blackcurrant

I started off by using a dip pen and made some marks, I brayered over some white gesso, this made the ink run a little, but I like the effect..

A layer of white gesso, added Infusions in A Bit Jaded and Blackcurrant onto the glass mat and carried on brayering..

Lastly, white gesso and Black Knight Infusions..
