Mixed Media Collage

The irregularity of packaging really appeals to me, and makes for a cool substrate..

A mash up of stamping gelli plate experiments and some mark making.. like the black and yellow.

Light and Shadow Collage.

Incorporating some white acrylic into my collages.

I started off with a doodle of the chair, and the rest just started to happen. Using the white for the light coming in and the black from the chair legs for the shadows..

Paper Collage and Photography.

Having a play with some coloured backgrounds for my collages. Have used Distress Oxides..

The photograph is of some wild thistle just outside our house!!. Printed black and white on to some kraft card.

Next time I will enlarge the picture and just use a section so the thistles are more recognizable.

My main focal point of this collage is a cutting from a magazine, really love the subject matter and the colours.

Mixing with a piece of brayered acrylics..

Found some waste die cut card to frame some of the men..

Free hand signature!!

Tea Bag Collage!!

Trying out a coloured substrate with my collages..

I like the combo with some used tea bags, stamping onto kraft card and some other scraps.

Stamping onto tea bags works really well for me, detail is very crisp, again using some PaperArtsy stamps!!

I wanted to incorporate some of my stamps within a collage..

The stamp is by PaperArtsy and is from the Urban Snapshots US section. Love the photographic quality!!

I love the earthy-ness of Kraft card, and made this collage..

I had the book page left over from another project, and liked the ripped out section, this idea came into my head!!. I also found the word Appendix, again from a book page.

I found a square of Kraft card and some cream paper packaging that was all screwed up, some white acrylic paint completed the piece. 

Loving these neutral colours..
