More play with yellow, lots of elements, great fun to build up. Her hair is made up of Baked Textures by Seth Apter, (embossing powder), some Paperartsy Zesty Zing acrylic paints.

Mixed Media Collage.
Investigating yellow as a background within a collage. Tried to decollage, but this did tear the painted background a little. A bit more texture!!

Rings of Life.
The current challenge over on the PaperArtsy blog this time is Vintage Neutrals.
I started off by using PaperArtsy Infusions Lemoncello and a small touch of Violet Storms onto some calico.
Some stamping with PaperArtsy Hot Picks 1501.
Originally I was going to use the piece of wood as a paperweight, but decided to wrap the calico around the wood.
I thought maybe I should have stuck to my original idea as most of the Infusions and stamping were hidden within the layers, so when I saw the question mark from the same stamp set, I stamped several times.
Added some flicks of the same Infusions with a paintbrush to add some interest to the grey board.
I am glad I pushed myself to try something different from my original idea, it reminds me of the rings that are formed within wood as they grow!!

Box of Oddities..
The current challenge over on the Paper Artsy blog is boxes. Darcy has provided several inspirations, I was really taken with the boxes by cocostyle, so I came up with this..
Started off with a recycled box that contained little chocolate cakes. Collaged over some card stamped with Paper Artsy Mini Stamp 19.
Quick sketch of some poppy heads, painted with Fresco Chalk Paint Caribbean Sea. Had the idea of a sheep, stitched some layers of fabric, painted with a wash of Caribbean Sea and sprinkled over some Infusions Rusty Car.
Made a little book, just some concertina card and a cover, painted with Fresco Chalk Paints, Mahogany, London Bus and Cheesecake.
Made another book!!, added some fabric to the cover, dyed with Infusions Blackcurrant.
Finished off the 'sheep' by adding a face from Lynne Perrella set of stamps 007 also from Paper Artsy.
Certainly is a box of oddities!!!
