Exploring mark making coupled with cut and paste magazine pages in the shape of a chair!!

Collage. Return of the Light.

I wanted to pay homage to the shortest day of the year by means of a collage and some mark making.

Alcohol ink, acrylics on the substrate, made seperate piece using some charcoal, cut out using jigsaw die. Added some stitching details..

Had this idea for a few weeks since I received some new stamps from Aall and Create!!

Exploring some mark making with a graphite stick and some ink stamped from a cut out of some foam.

Matchbox Collage Art.

It's my turn over on the Paper Artsy blog today with my project incorporating matchboxes.

Enjoyed making this collage, and had fun with the matchboxes. I was going to keep them 'hole', but then I discovered through play I liked them crushed.

Love adding parchment within my collages, loved how it took the Versafine Ink and the Fresco Chalk Paint.

Must remember to add matchboxes in future!!
