Over on the Country View Crafts Challenge this month, Hazel has chosen the theme of Circles.

Here is my take on this..

I have recently been inspired to try some tea bag art, so this is my first attempt. The backing is some packaging from a embossing folder. I painted using Cosmic Shimmer chalk paints and oversprayed with Dylusions Ink Spray White Linen.

I dried some tea bags, emptied the leaves. On this one I used 2 ink spray tops to make some marks with white gesso. I dropped on some voilet watercolour to see what would happen!!

On this tea bag, I stamped using an Indigo Blue stamp.

I used 2 of my texture stamps from Sheena on this one. all of the bags were glued into position.

Great fun, will use tea bags again, more experimenting!!!!

  1. I love these... think I need to keep my teabags

  2. Great piece of recycling! I may have to switch from coffee to tea... Thanks for joining us for our Circles challenge at Country View this month.
