Infusions Hare!!

This fortnight the topic is Whimsy, over on the Paperartsy Blog.

I made this Hare in a patchwork style!!

I dyed some calico with Infusions In The Navy and Rusty Car. With some copier paper I cut out a 'head' shape along with some ears.

I cut up the head into 4 and hand stitched together, I saw a patchwork cushion recently where all the seams were on the outside, liked the raggedy look!!

His eye and moustache are from some calico that I dyed last year with Infusions Blackcurrant. All stitched together. Rather pleased with him, glad Darcy provided a dictionary meaning, he certainly is odd, without explanation, nonsense!!!

  1. This hare is perfectly odd. I love its weirdness. You have such a clever ideas. I hadn't thought of dying calico with infusions. Those infusions are just so useful, little pots of magic!
